  • Conducted by licensed psychiatric nurse practitioners or collaborating psychiatrists. 
  • Includes thorough mental health assessments to determine diagnoses such as depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, PTSD, anxiety disorders, and more. 
  • Evaluations consider medical history, psychosocial factors, and current functioning. 
  1. Medication Management
  • Ongoing monitoring and adjustment of psychiatric medications to ensure safety, effectiveness, and minimal side effects. 
  • Education on medication purpose, dosage, interactions, and adherence strategies. 
  • Coordination with primary care providers and therapists to ensure integrated care. 
  1. Individualized Treatment Planning
  • Each client receives a customized care plan based on their diagnosis, goals, and lifestyle. 
  • Plans may include therapy referrals, community support, and wellness strategies. 
  • Emphasis on recovery-oriented goals and measurable outcomes. 
  1. Supportive Services
  • Psychoeducation: Teaching clients about mental health conditions and coping strategies. 
  • Crisis Intervention: Short-term stabilization and referrals during acute episodes.

  • Psychiatric services are often paired with ARMHS (Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services), and substance use recovery programs.
