Substance Use Disorders

Substance use disorders affect a person in a way that they lose control of the ability to limit use of the substance such as drugs and alcohol. It is a recurrent use of alcohol and or drugs leading to clinical impairment including health problems, failure to meet major responsibilities at work, home or school. The symptoms of substance use disorder can range from moderate to severe with dependence being the most severe form of substance use disorders.
